Also in 2000, Steve and his wife Debbie founded notMYkid, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring positive life choices. Through prevention education programs on drug abuse, Internet safety, eating disorders, and bullying, notMYkid has impacted the lives of thousands of families throughout Arizona and all 50 states.
In 2004, Steve took his understanding of drug prevention a step further and acquired First Check, a home diagnostic company with expertise in home drug testing. Steve expanded retail distribution making home drug testing a prevention tool available to parents nationwide. He understood the need for parents to be proactive in preventing drug-use and created programs that encouraged donations of education and drug tests in all 50 states. Steve’s success in the field of drug prevention was recognized with an appointment to President Bush’s Advisory Commission on Drug-Free Communities.

This is Kati, and I’m writing with the truth about NotMyKid — a charity that was created by Congressional candidate Steve Moak.NotMyKid is amazing. I grew up in a strong Christian household. But in high school, I battled an eating disorder. By the time I got to college, I was abusing drugs. My mom heard about notMYkid, and it has literally changed my life.
Today, I’m clean and sober, and I’ve seen the incredible work of Steve Moak and his wife, Debbie. They’ve help thousands of kids in Arizona — and across the country — including me.
Steve Moak’s opponents are trashing notMYkid with lies and hate mail right now. Please don’t believe what they’re saying. notMYkid is a life-saver, and shame on the other candidates for trying to tear it down.
